NFL Parts With Vikings Assistant Coach Rick Dennison For Allegedly Refusing Covid-19 Vaccine

If you work in an industry that requires taking an experimental Covid-19 vaccine, and you refuse, you could lose your job!

According to ESPN, Rick Dennison is no longer the Minnesota Vikings assistant coach after opting to not receive a vaccine. Dennison has served as the team’s offensive line coach and run game coordinator for the past two seasons. He is the first coach to part ways with the NFL over a vaccine dispute.

Los Angeles Rams NFL football player Kenny Young speaks during a press conference as education workers including teachers and support staff receive vaccinations at a mass vaccination site in a parking lot at Hollywood Park adjacent to SoFi stadium during the Covid-19 pandemic on March 1, 2021 in Inglewood, California. – The vaccination site is part of a plan from the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and State of California to reopen all district elementary schools by mid-April. Recently the NFL released a memo, to all of its 32 clubs sating that any COVID-19 outbreaks amidst unvaccinated players could result in the forfeiture of games and loss of play.

“These operating principles are designed to allow us to play a full season in a safe and responsible way and address possible competitive or financial issues fairly,” said the memo. “Every club is obligated under the Constitution and Bylaws to have its team ready to play at the scheduled time and place. A failure to do so is deemed conduct detrimental. There is no right to postpone a game.”

Many players are not with the NFL’s new rules,

“Never thought I would say this, But being put in a position to hurt my team because I don’t want to partake in the vaccine is making me question my future in the @Nfl,” Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins said.
