The Department Of Health in NYC has issued a warning for New Yorkers not to perform ‘rim jobs’ on their partners due to it being an increased risk to become infected with the coronavirus.
According to the New York Post, a guideline in regards to safe sex practices among the coronavirus outbreak was released on Saturday stating that your safest partner is “yourself.” However, the guideline strictly states to avoid performing rimming on your partner aka using your tongue to pleasure your partner around the anal region.

“Rimming (mouth on anus) might spread COVID-19. Virus in feces may enter your mouth. Take care during sex.”

Included in the guidelines was for New Yorkers to practice social distancing and to continue washing your hands along with sex toys to decrease the spread of COVID-19. The second safest person to have sex with is your live-in boyfriend or girlfriend.
“Masturbation will not spread COVID-19, especially if you wash your hands (and any sex toys) with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after. Having close contact — including sex — with a small circle of people helps prevent spreading COVID-19.”
