New Study Reveals 1 Out Of 8 People Suffer Anxiety When Their Phone Battery Is Low

A recent study revealed that one out of eight people reportedly suffer from anxiety when their phone battery is low.

The survey interviewed 2,000 smartphone users and revealed six out of ten people stated they couldn’t handle being separated from their phones for a day. Additionally, one out of eight people said they start to experience anxiety once their cell phone battery is low. The study was conducted by One Poll and it revealed that 55 percent of its participants agreed with the idea that their phones losing battery power can be considered a nightmare.

According to Audacy, Petri Haryrnen said in the following statement that “Smartphones offer so much, it’s unsurprising that we’re dependent, making the common complaints around battery life a real issue.”

The outlet also reported that 48 percent of the participants ranked losing their cell phone is far worse than losing a credit card, car keys, or a wedding ring. Three out of ten people also stated that they never leave the house without their phones and solely rely on it for GPS or checking the weather.
