“Corey, wherever you are, I just want to say I’m proud of you and everything that you did. The last months of his life, us three — Breanna, Corey, and me — we spent more time together than apart,”

Gregor continued to say that he saw how much his ex loved Corey and how much their son loved her along with their co-parenting relationship. He also apologized for the treadmill incident and denied causing his son’s death.

“What happened on March 20 was inexcusable. To you, Breanna, your family, and mine, I want to apologize you had to see Corey treated that way. He never deserved it. I want to assure you that on April 2, I did nothing to cause Corey’s passing. I didn’t hurt my son. I loved him and I still do. I regret not bringing him to the hospital sooner; I just thought he was tired.”

Breanna shared her emotional statemetn and advocated for justice and described her relationship with Gregor as an abusive and traumatic journey.
