#Socialites, get into this! NeNe Leakes’ son Bryson Bryant was arrested earlier this month and the reason why is pretty shocking.
Bryson, who has a lengthy arrest record, was taken into police custody on felony drug possession charges and is currently in jail.
According to Page Six, the 33-year-old was arrested on July 3 and hit with several charges, including possession of a scheduled II controlled substance, violation of probation, and loitering. In addition to that, giving a false name and address or birthdate. Per the website citing Radar Online, he was arrested at a home in Lawrenceville, Ga. after allegedly “evading police and claiming he knew the people that lived at the residence which was false.”
As he was being arrested, Bryant reportedly lied to cops and told them he was actually his younger brother Brentt Leakes! To make matters worse, he also allegedly gave cops the old address of a residence of the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star.
As a result of his alleged crimes, Bryant was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail after midnight. His bond has since been set at $3,700, per the jail records. Clearly, that was just not his day as that latest booking led Bryson to also be charged with violating probation in another case.

Now of course this isn’t Bryant, first run-in with the law. Previously he was arrested for shoplifting and driving with a suspended license. His rocky past all happened when he allegedly began shoplifting razors from Wal*Mart in 2011. In 2013, he crashed his car in June 2013 and was charged with reckless driving and a DUI. At the time, his blood alcohol level was reportedly below the legal limit. However, Bryson was given just one year of probation in February 2014.
Nene Leakes has not yet reacted to the news of her son’s latest arrest. Meanwhile, she seems to be dealing with her own drama following her split from her ex-boyfriend.

Around that time, Nene Leakes penned a message to her Instagram story that read: “Narcissists do not have the ability to self-reflect. They cannot see anything wrong with what they do and they only see fault in your reaction.”
“They believe every argument is caused by you because, to them, there was no problem with their actions until you reacted to them,” Leakes’ post continued. “They 100% believe you are the problem and they are the victim. It’s mind-blowing!”
