NBA Reveals 16 Players Test Positive For Coronavirus Ahead Of Return
Out of 302 tests conducted, the NBPA (National Basketball Players Association) and NBA reveal that 16 players have tested positive for coronavirus ahead the league’s scheduled return on July 30 in Orlando, Florida with 22 teams.
The group of players — who remain unnamed, besides those who’ve recently, publicly acknowledged testing positive: Jabari Parker, Nikola Jokic, Alex Len, Malcom Brogdon, and more — were a part of a pool of 302 tested on Tuesday.

While league hadn’t announced results of testing on staffers and members of travel parties, who’ve all been given mandatory tests, they stated, “Any player who tested positive will remain in self-isolation until he satisfies public health protocols for discontinuing isolation and has been cleared by a physician.”
Prior to the league’s recent announcement, many players have already opted out of the Orlando meet, including Willie Cauley-Stein, while players like Kyrie Irving and Dwight Howard ponder if the league should even attempt to boot back up amid the current race war.
