During the fourth quarter of the Lakers’ game against the Pacers with only one minute and 17 seconds left, LeBron made a pretty awesome shot, then celebrated the move by grabbing his crotch. Now there’s a backstory according to TMZ: Indiana fans had just been ejected for grabbing their crotch, presumably taunting LeBron and it apparently caught his eye. After making the next shot, LeBron returned the favor to the crowd by grabbing his crotch.

“Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has been fined $15,000 for making an obscene gesture on the playing court and warned for using profane language during media availability in response to league imposed discipline, it was announced today by Byron Spruell, President, League Operations,” the league said in a statement. This latest incident comes days after James was suspended for an on-court altercation involving Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart.

It was noted that the NBA has been fining players for that celebration which has become incredibly popular in the NBA and across sports for nearly a decade.
