Gina Krasley, one of the stars of TLC’s ‘My 600-Lb. Life’ has passed away at the age of 30.

Krasley reportedly died on Sunday at her home in Tuckerton, New Jersey where she was surrounded by family but the cause of death is currently unknown. She joined season 8 of the series in January 2020 where she discussed her issues with weight and used food as a form of comfort when things were hard in her life.
“‘I remember what made me forget the pain of being abandoned was eating — and by the time I was 10, I was already over 150 pounds,” Krasley said in her introduction clip.

At the age of 14, Krasley weighed 400 pounds and added that it was harder for her to do everyday tasks once she reached 500 pounds. The reality tv star had plans to open a dance school for children with special needs and created a TikTok trend called the “Size Doesn’t Matter” challenge.
TLC said in the following statement that they were saddened by learning the news of Krasley’s death.

Krasley is survived by her mother, sister, grandparents, wife, and other loved ones.
