Muni Long Reveals She Missed Out On A Drake Collab Because Her Boyfriend Was Jealous

Whew! Muni Long took a trip down memory lane and shared with her TikTok followers how she had a chance to work with Drake in 2008, but ghosted him after her boyfriend at the time got jealous.

“That on time in 2008 I missed out on a Drake feature because my bf at the time found out he was pulling up to the studio and flew into a jealous rage,” she captioned the clip.

“So I chickened out and quit responding to his texts. 🤡” the singer concluded.

In a recent interview, Long did talk about how she got in contact with Drake in the past, but it’s unclear if the story from the TikTok is the one she was referring to. She said Drake contacted her after he heard her cover to his hit song “Best I Ever Had.”

“And I was watching him on Degrassi when I was in middle school and high school,” said Long at the time. “So I’m like, ‘Oh my God, this is Aubrey Graham. This is amazing! Wheelchair Jimmy.’ And so, I remember talking to him back then. And he’s like, ‘Yeah, I’m an actor. I’m trying to get into music. I did this mixtape for Valentine’s Day. Didn’t really take it serious. People love it. I’m singing. Lil Wayne wants to sign me.’”
