Mugshot Reveals Face Of QAnon Shaman — Lawyer Claims He Hadn’t Eaten In Nine Days And Lost 20 Pounds In Jail
Jacob Anthony Chansley, the horned “QAnon Shaman” jailed over his involvement in the Capitol riots has been pictured in a mugshot for the first time since his arrest.

On Thursday, Chansley was moved from the DC Department of Corrections facility in Washington to Virginia’s Alexandria Detention Center where he was snapped, without his viral horns. He moved to a different facility because the jail where he was housed was unable to cater to his organic food needs. A court order had ruled Chansley should be served organic food while in custody because of his religious beliefs, the Daily Mail reports.
The move came just one day after a judge granted Chansley’s request to be served organic food following complaints from his lawyer that he had not eaten in nine days. As the news site notes, his lawyer, Albert Watkins, claimed Chansley had lost a total of 20 pounds since being transferred from the first Arizona facility — to Washington last week following his arrest for his involvement in the January 6th Capitol riots.Chansley, who calls himself the QAnon Shaman, considers eating organic food to be part of his ‘shamanic belief system and way of life,’ his lawyer had said.
As we previously reported, Chansley, who was pictured inside the Capitol with fur and horns, was arrested on six federal charges, including violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds. Chansley is being held without bail on federal charges and faces 25 years in prison.
