A mother from Bihar, India was in for a surprise when she gave birth to quintuplets instead of the baby boy she was expecting.

Phool Jahan and several doctors were stunned when she gave birth to three daughters and two sons at the Sadar Hospital on Thursday. One of the doctors who helped with the delivery, Dr. Rita Sinha, called the situation “one of a kind” since Phool was expected to give birth to a baby boy.
The newborns were placed in the Intensive Care Unit shortly after their arrival and have been under constant medical supervision.

The chances of conceiving quintuplets naturally are one in 60 billion. A similar situation happened in August when 23-year-old Lavinia Stanton went out of a cocktail bar when she suddenly went into labor. She was transported to a nearby hospital where she gave birth to her daughter Willow in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
According to Metro UK, another woman gave birth in Finland after she initially thought she was experiencing food poisoning.
