Mother Pleads For Public’s Help After 18-Year-Old Daughter Goes Missing

A mother is reaching out to get help from the public to find her 18-year-old daughter, who left a treatment facility where she lives without permission and never returned. At a time where cases like Gabby Petito’s are going viral, Geneesa Gordon has not been given the same attention from authorities.

According to News12, Geneesa Gordon was last seen at the Outreach Center located in Brentwood Friday. Suffolk police say after she left the residential treatment facility she was seen heading into Manhattan.

Gordons’s mother, Amy Morin has made it known that she is very concerned because her daughter suffers from mental illness and has been getting treatment at the Outreach center for about three months before she went missing.

According to Morin the facility that her daughter lives in doesn’t allow you to have any money, credit cards or even a cellphone. So it seems Gordon is pretty much on her own. Her mother states she is trying to stay strong, but really wants to get in contact with her daughter.
