Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel has reportedly deleted his official Twitter account after selling his shares in the company.

Bancel reportedly sold 10,000 of his own shares of MRNA stock earlier today after the average price of $178.29 went up by 3.06 percent as reported by Yahoo! Finance. In addition to selling his shares, several Twitter users noticed that Bancel deleted his Twitter account without any explanation.
“Moderna CEO deletes Twitter account and sells $400m worth of MRNA shares. As does Noubar Afeyan, another Moderna cofounder who has dumped shares for $1.5B.” wrote Guru Seed editor Ryan Allen.

The head of Moderna, @sbancel has deleted his Twitter account, it appears.
Over the past two years, on a weekly basis, Bancel has dumped Moderna stock. He’s now cashed out hundreds of millions of dollars. He’s sold about $20 million worth of shares in 2022.

Although a reason is currently unclear, several Twitter users alleged that Bancel deleted his account and sold some shares after a report about the coronavirus vaccines was published earlier today.
Days after Pfizer admitted a safety audit could wipe billions off their stock market valuation, Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel dumped hundreds of millions of dollars in stock and deleted his Twitter account.
