A group of teens arrive at the home and jump the mother of another girl they had issues with
Michelle Audo, 48, and her husband were sleeping at their home on May 14 in Blue Springs when their daughters woke them up and said a group of girls was waiting outside to fight her youngest daughter. The mother said she went outside and told the group who arrived in a white sedan to leave but the teens refused and demanded she let her 16-year-old daughter come outside to fight. “I go, ‘You know, she’s not coming out.’ And they’re like, ‘Well, either she’s coming out or we’re coming in.’ And I’m like ‘No, you’re not,’” she explained.
As reported by the Kansas City Star, two of the girls jumped out of the car and started attacking Audo. A girl with blond hair allegedly punched her in the face while a brunette joined in on the fight, resulting in the mother ending up laying down on the ground. Her older daughter, aged 18, ran outside and pulled the two girls off of Audo while her husband used a cane to knock the blonde girl to the ground when she tried to attack the mother again for the second time.
“Ms. Audo stated that when she stood up the blonde female took a fighting stance and was moving toward her,” the report said. That’s when her husband, who took a cane with him outside, was able to use that to bring her to the ground.”

Both teens are reportedly aged 13 and 14 and one faced one charge for the attack
The two suspects wrote about the attack on Snapchat stating Audo got her “a** beat” and said in another post, “Tell yo mom to come clean her blood off my window.” Authorities spoke to the girls and they claim Audo approached them first in the vehicle and allegedly swung at them first. Both girls were charged with simple assault and prosecuted through youth court.
The mother says the teens should face more charges for the attack and believes they can commit the same crime again. She also waited six days after the attack and sustained a concussion plus a broken nose.
“I was severely hurt. These girls seem to have zero regards for anybody. And to me, it seems like they think they can do whatever they want. And they get away with it. They think they are grown enough to beat up someone’s mom, I think they need to pay the consequences. What’s going to stop them from coming back? Or to do this to somebody else?”
Blue Springs Police Chief Bob Muenz said the case is still under investigation.
