A Michigan couple says they were left shocked and disgusted after allegedly catching their landlord on security camera footage walking around naked and having sex inside their home while they were away visiting a sick family member at the hospital.

According to reports, the couple contacted their landlord to fix issues involving birds getting into the attic through a hole in the roof. They also reportedly wanted repairs made to part of the ceiling inside their daughter’s bedroom. Javon Crawford said he briefly saw the landlord arrive at the Westland home to handle the repairs. However, Crawford explained that he had to leave shortly after because he and his wife were heading to the hospital to visit his grandmother.
Like many families nowadays, the couple had security cameras installed inside their home. Those cameras later sent alerts to their phones while they were sitting at the hospital. What they allegedly saw left them stunned. According to Crawford, the footage showed the landlord walking around the home completely naked. Then things reportedly became even more disturbing after the man was allegedly seen having sex with a woman on the floor directly in front of the camera.
The story has quickly gone viral online because many people cannot believe someone entrusted to repair a property would allegedly behave that way inside another person’s home. Social media users have especially pointed out how violating the situation sounds, particularly because the family was away handling a medical emergency involving a loved one.

According to Crawford, the entire situation became even more upsetting because he and his wife were already emotionally overwhelmed while visiting his grandmother in the hospital. Instead of having peace of mind knowing their home repairs were being handled, they say they suddenly watched chaos unfold through their phone notifications.
Crawford described the bizarre moment during interviews after the footage surfaced.
“He was walking back and forth naked,” he said. “I think he was making a sandwich — I don’t know.”
Crawford later explained the emotions he felt after seeing the footage pop up while sitting at the hospital with his wife.
“Angry, disrespected, just angry,” Crawford said when asked how he felt after seeing the video.
