Michelle Rodriguez Confirms ‘Fast & Furious 9’ Is Going To Outer Space
Though production for the ninth installment has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, news surrounding ‘Fast & Furious 9‘ is bubbling as franchise star Michelle Rodriguez, who plays “Letty Ortiz,” confirms the film is going to outer space.
With a new April 2021 release date, Rodriguez unintentionally revealed upcoming scenery for ‘Fast 9,’ which looks to add onto the franchise’s landscapes of air, land and sea, and go outside of the Earth’s atmosphere.

While speaking with SiriusXM’s ‘Jess Cagle Show‘ about co-star Ludacris‘ hint from a few months bag, Rodriguez confirms, “Oh, no way. How did you guys find that out? See what happens? People start talking behind the scenes, man. When a movie doesn’t come out and forget about it, things get out. Nobody was supposed to know that!” Trying to change the subject, she adds, “No, I’m not. I’m not lucky enough to hit space, but we did get a female writer, and showed a lot of love, thanks to Justin Lin (director).” Rodriguez’ tone is quite sarcastic, so we may be holding our breath on this one. #Socialites, thoughts?
