Michael Jai White Reveals His Son Died From COVID-19

Actor Michael Jai White recently made a heartbreaking revelation about his eldest son who passed away due to Covid-19.

While speaking to VladTV, White revealed that his son passed from COVID-19 “just a few months ago.” He had his son when he was just 15, and added that they had practically “grown up together.”

 He added that “unfortunately, the street element was still part of his life growing up. He was in the hospital for a while so it wasn’t immediate. Unfortunately, he was still kinda out there in the streets hustling, wasn’t doing well, started getting on substances. He’d come out, go back in, all that type of stuff.”

The actor added that he tried his best to help his son, but “ultimately, it’s up to that person, especially if it’s a grown person.” The street lifestyle was “his thing” and “COVID was waiting for him… That was the knockout blow.” The toll that the substance abuse took on his body made his “system compromised.” He leaves behind six kids.
