Mass Shooting At Idaho Mall Leaves Two People Dead And Six Injured

A gunman opened fire at a mall in Boise, Idaho killing two people and injuring six others including a police officer, early Monday afternoon.

Authorities arrived at the scene around 2:00 p.m. after receiving calls about a shooting that took place at the Boise Towne Square Mall. Before apprehending the gunman, police exchanged gunfire with the suspect which injured one of the officers during the altercation. According to the Daily Mail, investigators believe there was only one person involved in the shooting.

Boise Police Chief Ryan Lee said in a statement that officers are working on notifying families of the victims who were killed or injured during the shooting and a motive is currently unknown at this time.
