Masika Kalysha has reportedly filed a lawsuit against Hazel E and the Zeus Network over the pair’s sit-down chat in August 2020 when they taped “The Conversation” and things turned violent between the two. In court documents obtained by TMZ, the former “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star, who filed the paperwork without any legal representation, asserted that prior to her chat with Hazel, she was told by Zeus the two would be put together in the same room to hash out their years-long differences with one another.
And while Kalysha was clearly open to the idea, given that she inked a deal to appear on the show, she argues in her suit that she didn’t sign up to be ambushed by Hazel’s makeup artist who came into her dressing room and attacked her while she was caught off-guard. The incident led her to suffer from multiple bruises, a broken finger, and scratches on her body, per the lawsuit.

In the midst of security trying to break up the fight, Kalysha claimed she was inappropriately touched by her private parts and recalled one of the men saying, “She’s thick as f***.” Before the episode aired on the Zeus Network, the TV personality also mentioned how her then-attorney requested that the company should not air the fight on the show — but her wishes were respectfully declined. With her lawsuit, Kalysha hopes to walk away with $6 million in damages and wants a judge to have Zeus take the fight down.
In late 2020, Hazel did an interview with Cheat Sheet, telling the news outlet how her initial intent was to have a civilized chat with Kalysha since the two had been feuding on social media for as long as fans can remember. The pair famously starred in “LHH: Hollywood” together, but even on the VH1 series, they were constantly bickering and clashing with one another stemming from their former relationship with music producer Hitmaka.

Hazel expressed how she had hoped to settle things with Kalysha once and for all when they both agreed to meet up to tape “The Conversation,” but things ended up going left rather quickly. “I just felt like in the beginning when I tried to hold my poise and my posture and really sit down like a lady to have that talk, that energy was so off from the get-go that by the time the meltdown happened and her wig was gone, I was just like she has lost it,” she said.
As for whether Hazel could see herself trying to make amends with Kalysha somewhere down the line, she added, “I have no reason to ever communicate with that lady ever again in my life,” she stated. “I’m good. I never want to come in contact with that human being ever again.”
