The 15th series of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” kicked off earlier this month, and the drama is already in full effect. On the latest episode of REVOLT’s “The Jason Lee Show,” HU Founder Jason Lee sits down with none other than Ms. Marlo Hampton, and you already know that no things are off limits with this peach holder. If you’ve been watching the Bravo show these past few seasons, you’d already be aware that Marlo does not see eye-to-eye with Kenya Moore, and she certainly made it no secret while addressing their feud to Jason.
The dispute between both ladies reached new heights in season 14, shortly after having made amends in the previous series, thanks to Cynthia Bailey who gathered the ladies together during their trip to South Carolina. “It’s sad because both of us are strong, Black, Aquarius women, same upbringing. And it’s so sad that we can’t just really get it together and let it last,” Marlo said about Kenya last season. “At least two years would’ve been nice to be friends and be happy, but some kind of way, the devil just keeps coming right in between us.”
Well, like they say, all good things come to an end — and that includes a healthy friendship with Kenya, who Marlo said she tried to get booted from the “Housewives” franchise.
Elsewhere, Marlo also touched on where she and Kandi Burruss currently stand, having also touched on the long-standing rumors that the Xscape singer is known to be an alleged “sex freak.” Back in season 10, Kandi found herself in a lot of heat over claims she allegedly tried to drug former co-star Porsha Williams and take her back to her supposed sex dungeon, an allegation that was first made by ex-housewife Phaedra Parks.
And while Kandi vehemently denied there is any truth to the claims, Phaedra initially stood by her words. She was reportedly fired from the show shortly after, with the rumor being that her accusations against Kandi are what got her fired from “Real Housewives,” though that’s never actually been confirmed or denied.
Going off on what Marlo told Jason, however, the reality star calls Kandi a “sex freak,” which wouldn’t be all that surprising considering she has her own sex toy line and frequently discusses intimacy with her husband, Todd, on the show. But apparently, Kandi likes sex more than the average person — and at 46, that’s clearly saying something.
“Kandi is like a sex freak,” Marlo said. When asked by Jason on whether Kandi and Todd are out here doing threesomes with other people, Marlo looked unamused, responding, “Think? The f***, think? I don’t think.”
