Mario Reveals He Fell In Love The First Time He Had Sex, Which Was ‘Very Young’
As Valentine’s Day approaches with his Instagram-official girlfriend, singer Kris Stephens, 34-year-old singer Mario is opening up about his personal life; including when he lost his virginity. He reveals he was “very young” when he first had sex and it was then that he first fell in love.
Speaking with PageSix, the “Let Me Love You” singer says, “I won’t tell you the age but I was very young. My first time having sex is when I fell in love. I was young though.” Clarifying a bit, Mario admits he later realized it wasn’t him actually being head over heels for his lover, but perhaps him caught up in his emotions and first-time feelings of love-making. He adds, “It was incredible and I thought I was in love but I wasn’t.”

Eventually, though, Mario ended up falling in real love when he was about 17-years-old, when he was in a relationship with his high school sweetheart. He says, “I would say 17, that’s when I first felt like I could trust her with everything. We talked about everything she was my best friend. I was in the business, so I didn’t really have real friends and I have been with her beforehand so she knew me differently, I felt like that was my first time falling in love.”
