The son of basketball legend Michael Jordan took to Instagram to express his thoughts on what he perceived as Pippen “rewriting history” for the sake of gaining attention and “clout.”
In a now-deleted Instagram Story, Marcus, 33, seemingly called out Pippen for attempting to reshape the narrative of their split for publicity, stating, “I wasn’t born yesterday. Rewriting history for clout is not something to admire,” Page Six notes. He went on to express his disappointment in how people can change just to stay relevant in conversations that hold no significance, emphasizing that Pippen seemed more interested in media attention than genuine connection.
Meanwhile, the “Real Housewives of Miami” star previously revealed in a recent podcast interview with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes that she and Marcus were on different paths, leading to their decision to part ways.
“I just think we’re on a different journey, you know?” she said. “I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing and what he’s doing, you know? I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me.”

Addressing speculation about their breakup being linked to their significant age difference, Pippen dismissed such claims, noting that age was not a determining factor in their relationship dynamics. She explained that her time away for a show helped her gain clarity on her feelings towards Marcus, ultimately realizing that they may not be the right match at this point in their lives.
“I don’t think it’s the age,” she said, doubling down. “I just think it’s where we are right now.”
