Last year, Jason Muzzicato,45, was caught after investigators received reports of several small explosions occurring in the town of Bangor. After obtaining a warrant to search Muzzicato’s home, investigators discovered an arsenal of weapons and ammunition. He was unable to use those weapons because his ex-girlfriend filed an order of protection against him.

Although he has denied controlling the drone, Muzzicato has pleaded guilty in court last December to two counts of weapon possession and one count of flying an unregistered aircraft as reported by the New York Post.

Muzzicato also claimed he had the weapons in his home because he became subjected to harassment which included damage to his vehicles along with experiencing it from his customers. He was sentenced to serve five years in prison on Thursday.
