The unidentified male passenger boarded a flight to Fort Lauderdale from New York City when a Port Authority officer approached him for not wearing a mask. During the argument, the passenger tells the officer that other passengers witnessed him wearing a mask as they were boarding the aircraft and didn’t do anything wrong. In response, the officer tells him “We can’t go through an investigation right now. We cannot go right now on witnesses.”
The officer also claimed that the passenger got into a TSA agent’s face before boarding the flight but the man tells him he was still allowed on the plane. He further explained he was heading home to tend to his father who had a stroke.
