Man Arrested After Going On Killing Spree In Atlanta, Targeting People Of Color

Robert Aaron Long, a 21-year-old Woodstock, Georgia man, has been arrested after going on a killing spree in Atlanta, allegedly targeting people of color. Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Capt. Jay Baker confirms that at least 8 people have been killed.

It’s reported that Long drove around the metro area and visited three spas. Law enforcement officials say four people were fatally shot at two spas in Northeast Atlanta, and four others were killed at a spa in Cherokee County. The victims were two Asian women, a white woman, and a white man. A fifth victim was identified as a Hispanic man. The other four victims were all Asian women.

After fleeing the scenes, Long took Cherokee County Sheriff’s officials on a police chase, which ended in Crisp County, which is located about 150 miles south of Atlanta. As this story continues to develop, we will continue to keep you updated.
