Winchester Hagans,31, is currently facing littering charges after leaving a handmade wooden box of flowers on his fiance’s gravesite. According to the Daily Mail, Hagans left the memento on 26-year-old Hannah Ford’s grave to commemorate the one-year anniversary of her death. The young woman was killed in a car accident while driving home from a wedding venue last January and Hagans said the box was covered in handwritten quotes with photos of the couple.
He said he learned that his fiance’s father did not approve of the wooden box and contacted the police to make the arrest last January. Hagans also recalled that he was never contacted by the man and additionally sought approval by the city who informed him that the wooden box would have to be approved by the family or face charges.

‘Even though she is gone I promised her I would never bring her cut flowers again. She was the love of my life the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. She was the best thing that ever happened to me,’
