The incident took place on Jan. 7 when Shane McInerney,29, reportedly refused to wear a mask and threw an empty can that struck another passenger in the head during the eight-hour flight. A court affidavit said McInerney had an altercation with the flight captain at one point while he was on break and pulled down his pants and underwear then flashed his buttocks to a flight attendant.

Court documents also state that McInerney did not remain seated while the plane was reaching John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City.
