A Bronx man was arrested last week after he was caught walking down the street wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying a grenade launcher.

According to 1010 Wins, Edison Cruz,23, was spotted by NYPD officers while walking near Andrews Avenue and 179th Street in University Heights around 11 a.m. Thursday. Police arrested and detained Cruz before obtaining a search warrant to investigate his home.
During the investigation, police found a shotgun, firearm receivers, drill bits, tools, a firearm manufacturing template, a shotgun barrel, and stock. Additionally, they also found a hatchet and Glock parts inside of the apartment.

His charges are currently pending and police did not reveal his attorney information.
