Madonna’s Daughter Lourdes Gets Denied Entry To Marc Jacobs Fashion Show After Arriving Late

Oop! Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon was left standing outside of the Marc Jacobs fashion show in New York City on Thursday after arriving late, as security reportedly told her she wouldn’t be allowed to come inside. The 26-year-old, according to the Daily Mail, apparently arrived at the Park Avenue Armory after doors had already closed and the show was just about to start.

In a video that has since gone viral on TikTok, Leon can be seen talking to security who is believed to have told her she wouldn’t be able to go inside because the event was just about to commence. Sources say she arrived at 6 PM, which is the exact time the show kicked off, leaving her stranded with a string of photographers who chanted, “Let her in!”

Unfortunately, though, Leon was still refused entry despite their effort to help, with one security member telling her she was late and would ultimately have to miss the show altogether. The 26-year-old, who sported an all-denim outfit paired with white knee-high boots, then headed back to her car and left.

The video caused quite a stir on social media, particularly on Twitter, where people argued that she shouldn’t expect to be let in if she’s not going to show up on time, while others argued that if she had gone with her mom, they would’ve undoubtedly let her in.

Others contended that Leon was supposedly using her privilege of being Madonna’s daughter to show up late and think she can still get inside the event, which in this case clearly didn’t work.

Leon has been faced with criticism of being a “nepotism baby” for several years now, having even addressed the remarks in an interview last year, saying she was raised “smarter” than to rely on her mom superstardom to make a name for herself.

While speaking to The Cut, the model expressed, “I want to feel like I deserve things and not just like I’ve been given things.”

“And, yes, there’s undeniable privilege that I’d be stupid to not realize. Nepotism babies are pretty awful usually, and my mom and my father raised me to be so much smarter than that.”

Outside of her aspiring career as a fashion model, Leon has recently also been turning her attention to music. She released her first EP “Go,” under her stage name Lolahol in November.
