Madonna, 63, Reportedly splits from boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams, 28, after three years of dating!
Oh no! Another celebrity couple has decided to call it quits. Madonna and her boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams have reportedly broken up after three years of dating, according to a report by The Sun.
A source explained to the outlet that the 63-year-old singer split with her 28-year-old boyfriend due to her busy work schedule. The couple began their relationship in 2019: “Madonna has thrown herself into a busy social life and has been seeing her friends and family after the split,” the source explained. “She has a packed schedule, working on her upcoming biopic, new music and looking after her family, things have been on and off with Ahlamalik for a while. There’s a lot of love, but for now, they have decided to separate.”
Although Madonna nor Williams have not officially announced their breakup on social media yet, the source adds that “they are still on good terms and there are no hard feelings, but they are at different places with their lives, they spent months together on tour and in lockdown, but now he has moved out of her home.” Now, the Queen of Pop seemed to allude to the rumored split on her Instagram Story Tuesday when she posted a cryptic quote. It read, “Karma said: when somebody in your life is not right for you….god will continuously use them to hurt you until you become strong enough to let them go.”

The pair reportedly met when Williams danced for Madonna on her Rebel Heart tour in 2015. Of course, when news of their romance broke, it sparked major controversy due to their age. However, when it became public in 2019 after appearing together on the singer’s Instagram account, it led Williams’ father Drue Williams to confirm the news. He told TMZ that his son had been dating Madonna for more than a year at the time: “Love has no age,’ his father said, who is two years younger than Madonna. ‘My son is livin’ la vida loca, and I’m just happy for him,” he told the outlet.

While that relationship came to a shock to some, Madonna has dated mostly younger men apart from actor Warren Beatty, now 85. The Sun notes that she tied the knot to Sean Penn, 61, had romances with rappers Vanilla Ice, 54, and the late Tupac Shakur, actor Carlos Leon, 55, and wed again to director Guy Ritchie, 53. She later dated model Kevin Sampaio, 35.
Aside from her dating life, Madonna is currently in the process of working on a biopic of her life. Sources say she’s been heavily involved in that project. The singer-songwriter also announced last September that she is co-directing and co-writing the forthcoming film, which she has described as a “visual autobiography.”
