Madonna is a trooper and continues to perform for her Madame X tour despite suffering numerous injuries, but on Thursday night it took a toll on her during her Paris show at Le Grand Rex. The queen of pop reportedly took a fall and left the stage in tears, while struggling to walk.
The Sun reports that Madonna, 61, was aided by one of her dancers after taking a fall. She was visibly crying as she used a cane to get off the stage. The singer recently opened up about multiple show cancellations due to her hip and knee injuries, however according to attendees she said,
“I’m gonna finish this f****** tour, no matter what it costs me.”
A close friend to the star, Frien Debi Mazar recently told PageSix that she is “doing really well.”
“She’s strong and she has her injuries but she’s really trying to take care of her body. I talk to her regularly like, ‘You’ve got this, girl’ … I support her and I love her but it’s a moment where she has to listen to her body,” he said.
Madonna’s tour has already been forced to cancel 14 shows. Last month she opened up about her injuries and sudden cancellations.
“I consider myself a warrior. I never quit, I never give in, I never give up! However, this time I have to listen to my body and accept my pain is a warning.”
