Over a throwback photo of herself wearing a t-shirt with the singer’s name on it, Madonna added, “Slavery was abolished so long ago!” The 62-year-old went on to say, “Death to the greedy patriarchy that has been doing this to women for centuries. This is a violation of human rights! Britney we coming to get you out of jail!”
Madonna now joins the long list of celebrities who have spoken out in support of Spears and demanded she is freed from her conservatorship. Others included Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Halsey, Rose McGowan, Jesse Tyler Furguson and more.
Britney has recently expressed that the conservatorship is controlling her life including her reproductive rights, saying, “I have an IUD in my body right now that won’t let me have a baby and my conservators won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out.”
