Lil Tjay Gifted Ice Spice A $150K Watch Extremely Close To Valentine’s Day — But Sources Say The Pair Of New York Rappers Aren’t An Item

Lil Tjay has seemingly brought a new meaning to Bronx baddie Ice Spice’s, “You thought I was feeling you?” bar from her hit single “Munch.”

According to TMZ, the “Calling My Phone,” rapper gave Ice Spice a generous gift in the form of an iced-out Richard Mille watch valued over six figures. Highlighted details of the watch, which happens to be the new Richard Mille RM-05 rose gold edition, included a pave encrusted bezel in addition to a sporty white band.

Benny Da Jewler, the luxury jewelry designer for celebrities such as Diddy, Tarij P. Henson and Usher, shared a detailed sneak peek of the watch on his personal Instagram account.

“When You Say You The King Of The City You Gotta Step Different EVERYTIME New Richard Millie RM-05 Rose Gold Gifted To @icespice from my brotha @liltjay,” Benny wrote in the caption of the post.

While it appears Lil Tjay had the gift ready for Ice Spice just in time for the Valentine’s Day love cycle, sources close to the rappers say it’s purely a friendly, celebratory gesture. The watch is purportedly a gift commemorating the recent success of Ice Spice and Lil Tjay’s “Gangsta Boo,” collaboration. After the track arrived on Ice Spice’s debut EP Like…? last month, the song, which honors the deceased Three 6 Mafia rapper of the same name, recently reached the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

It has also become one of Ice Spice’s most popular tracks, considering it has racked up more than 11 million streams on Spotify alone. For perspective, Ice Spice’s monthly listeners total on the streaming platform is currently just over 16 million users.

Aside from their chemistry as collaborators, Ice Spice and Lil Tjay have seemingly built a strong bond over a short period of time. The pair were set to shoot a music video for their recent collab back in December, however, Lil Tjay ended up being arrested for gun possession ahead of the shoot.

Aside from the hiccup at the video shoot, both Ice Spice and Lil Tjay are Brox natives and also appear to share the same jeweler — none other than Benny himself.

On top of the ultra-expensive watch Benny Da Jeweler just did per Lil Tjay’s request, the New York-based jeweler also designed a $100k custom chain for Ice Spice last month featuring over 80 carats of diamonds. Additionally, Benny recently wrapped up a custom chain for Lil Tjay dubbed “The Trench Kid,” which incorporates more than 90 carats of VVS clarity diamonds and glow-in-the-dark enamel accents.
