After all the harsh digs, allegations, and back-and-forth, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have decided to call off their divorce. Yup, you read that right.
The news comes a day after @tmz_tv reported that the couple went to church on Sunday with their kids amid their nasty divorce and custody battle …and it looks like a good word about the lord helped them figure things out!
Aside from that you’re probably wondering what really made them call the divorce off. Well, according to TMZ, both Kim and Kroy filed to dismiss their petitions for divorce this Friday as sources close to the reality stars say the two have really been getting along well…at the moment. Not only do they want to continue to work on figuring out how they can things work between them, but they’re also considering their 4 young kids.

As we previously reported, back in May both Kim and Kroy filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage. According to documents obtained by TMZ, the couple’s date of separation was listed as April 30, with Kim citing “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation” as the reason for their split.
The filing came just hours after it was reported that the they owed the IRS more than $1 million.
Legal documents revealed that the couple owes $1.1 million for unpaid taxes, interest, and penalties from 2013 – 2018. Zolciak and Biermann are also said to owe the state of Georgia $15,000 for unpaid taxes for 2018, according to reports.
One day after Kim’s filing, Kroy made his own custody move and decided to submitted a request for sole legal and physical custody of their four children. Not only was Kim also served a summons which required her and Kroy to complete a domestic intake worksheet that monitors the treatment of their kids over 30 days, but Kroy asked to be “awarded exclusive, temporary and permanent use and possession” of the property as well as any others he purchased while they were married… even though they were both still living at the same residence.
To make matters worse, Kim hit back in a May filing, alleging that she has seen Kroy “smoking marijuana,” and requested her ex to undergo drug testing. She said at the time that she had serious concerns for the safety and “well-being” of their kids. The move was made so the court can determine custody arrangements for the children.
Despite all of that, it looks like they’ve been able to put all the drama behind them and focus on what’s really important: fixing their marriage.
