“On an NBA Board of Governors call Friday, there was an overwhelming sentiment among NBA owners to do whatever is necessary to avoid postponements and cancellations this season,” Adam Wojnarowski added.

The same incident also happened to Lakers star Lebron James. As we previously reported, the NBA star reportedly tested positive for covid 19 and had to miss a game, but it was later reported that he really was negative.

Durant had already set to miss tonight’s game against the Magic because of his sore right ankle. Irving, who has refused to be vaccinated, had skipped Brooklyn’s first 29 games before the Nets overturned course on their decision to not authorize him to play in road games. Irving will still be unqualified to play at home due to New York City’s vaccine mandates.
