Kris Jenner reportedly isn’t too happy about Kylie Jenner’s spending habits — so much that she has told her daughter to “slow down.” In a new report via the New York Post, the momager is said to have expressed her concerns about the way in which Kylie has been shelling out her money, particularly ever since purchasing her $72 million customized private jet.
Two years ago, the same year that she got her jet, Kylie also spent a whopping $36.5 million on a resort compound in Holmby Hills, followed by construction work that commenced in late 2021 on another $15 million Hidden Hills mansion, where she’s currently building an 18,000-square-foot home from the ground up.

And while Kylie is certainly not going broke anytime soon, Kris has seemingly paid closer attention to the 24-year-old’s spending and believes there are some much-needed financial adjustments to be made. “Kylie has been spending so much that, after she bought the jet, her mom had to step in and tell her to slow down,” a source told The Post.
Earlier this week, the Kylie Cosmetics founder was heavily criticized for boasting about her jet before a report claimed she had been using her aircraft for flights as short as 17 minutes, with many calling her a “climate criminal” because of it.
Days after causing controversy on social media did Kylie reappear on TikTok as she treated daughter Stormi and her niece, True Thompson, to a shopping spree at Target, where she scooped up a bunch of toys for the girls in what some people believe was Kylie’s way of doing damage control following the bad press she received regarding her private jet usage.

Some people on Twitter even went as far as to assume that the mother-of-two had only filmed herself shopping in Target to come across as relatable. The Kar-Jenners aren’t usually the ones to clap back when they attract negative attention, and this time was no different as Kylie has opted not to address how often (and how long) she flies her jet at a time.
In the comments of her TikTok video, others seemed to agree that Kylie shopping at Target was quite random and out of the ordinary. “Playing normal life simulator,” one person said, while another added: “Did u rent out target for this real question. Did they close the store for y’all,” with another questioning “Since when does Kylie Jenner go to Target?”
