Kodak Black’s Request For Early Release Denied By Prosecutors

Kodak Black is not scheduled to be released until 2022, and despite his efforts to do good for his community, prosecutors have denied his personal requests to be released early to make more positive changes.

According to HotNewHipHop, Kodak personally sent a letter to the federal prosecutors adding that he is not “sick or demented”, and simply made a mistake. The rapper believes that he can do a lot more good if he is released out of jail, but the prosecutors do not believe that it is enough grounds for an early release adding that there are no “extraordinary and compelling reasons supporting his request for release”.

Just recently, the 23-year-old donated $20,000 toward a toy drive to disperse to kids in his native Broward County. His lawyer said that Kodak advised him on which toys to purchase, and how to present them to the young recipients.

Hopefully, the rapper can get another request approved as his time behind bars has been tough and he has been harassed by guards, beaten up, and apparently drugged.

He previously released a statement behind bars,

“4 Months Ago I Was Jus Facetiming Da Baddest Females On Planet Earth , Na Im Makin Jail Calls Waitin On Mail Call,” Kodak wrote in his Instagram caption. “Ya Sometime I Come Off A Lil Arrogant But You`ll Be Too If You Was Young & Rich Comin Up Out Da Projects , Shiddd I Walked Out A Juvenile Detention Center To Millions Of Dollars #IMAGINEDAT .. On Da Real , Im Feelin Its Sumn God Wanna Show Me Or Want Me To Do Cause Im Steady Going Through Da Same Thing , Hopefully These Lessons Turn To Blessings.
