According to Page Six, the lawsuit filed against Pascal Duvier and his security company Protect Security and Balali Investments Inc claimed they acted on negligence after failing to protect the reality star on October 3, 2016. During the robbery, the men stole $10 million worth of jewelry which also included a $5 million diamond ring from Kanye West. Duvier allegedly left Kardashian alone during the entire ordeal while he escorted her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to a local nightclub.
At the time of the robbery, Kim was in attendance for Paris Fashion Week and she said she was held at gunpoint then tied up and thrown into a bathtub. The trial for the 12 men who planned and committed the robbery is scheduled to take place next year after being charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, and criminal association.

The two parties agreed on a settlement before the lawsuit reached the court as stated by legal documents. It reads, “Plaintiff’s Counsel informs the court that the parties have come to a settlement agreement and are waiting on the defendant’s signature to proceed further.”
Kardashian’s lawyer, Jay Harder, said to The Sun that he couldn’t explain any other details regarding the case.
