In scenes aired in the new series of The Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian admits that she found the experience of welcoming baby Tatum last July, ‘transactional.’ She also said she felt guilty for taking him away from the woman who had actually carried him.

“I felt really guilty that this woman just had my baby,” Kardashian said in a confessional. “I take the baby and I go to another room and you’re sort of separated. It’s such a transactional experience ’cause it’s not about him.” The mom of two added that she went into a state of “shock” during her surrogacy experience. “I wish someone was honest about surrogacy and the difference of it,” she said, clarifying that it’s not a bad thing. “It’s still great, it’s just very different.”

While speaking with her sister Kim Kardashian who previously welcomed two of her four children via surrogacy, Khloe admitted the process had been challenging for her. “It’s a mind f–k. It’s really the weirdest thing,” Scott Disick asked her if she felt less connected to her son than her daughter, whom she birthed herself. Khloe honestly nodded her head yes while answering back.

More On Khloe Kardashian Welcoming Her 2nd Child With Tristan Thompson

The Good American co-founder, 38, has had a tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship with the Los Angeles Lakers basketball player, 32.

As we previously reported, on July 13, 2022, a rep for the reality star confirmed that she and Tristan Thompson were expecting their second child together — even despite the pair not being back together. The former Revenge Body had previously discussed looking into surrogacy options in June 2021, around when she and Thompson called it quits. She revealed that she “did have [a surrogate] and then it fell through” at the time.

Khloe and Tristan had called it quits after he fathered another child, a son with a woman named Maralee Nichols. Tristan was still with Khloe at the time and wanted to propose to her. But that all went out the window after his cheating drama was made public.

Aside from that, the two were able to maintain a healthy co-parenting relationship for the sake of their daughter True and now their son, Tatum. Just recently, Khloe even defended her and her family’s support for the athlete.

The 38-year-old said the comment section of a fan post, “Stop pushing this narrative. It’s tiring. But I suppose You guys will continue the narrative you want regardless of what I say so what’s the point.” The post in question proposed that her sister Kim Kardashian was attending Los Angeles Lakers’ games as a way to get their fans “prepared” for the former couple’s reunion. Khloe went on to say, “It’s exhausting but I learned people will only understand to the level of their own perception. Most are stuck at believing the lies because it’s the narrative they want to fuel. Have fun…. Some things are just as simple as they seem. A family member supporting another family member ESPECIALLY during a difficult time in life.”

She added at the time, “Just how I support Scott and will forever support him. He’s my brother. It’s just not on an nba stage,” Khloé continued. “Sad new world, If there’s no photos people think it really didn’t happen but yes, I see Scott often. Some things really are just as they are. ❤️.”
