After all the online trolling from Drake, Kendrick Lamar is returning the energy.
Amid the ongoing feud between the two rappers, the Compton artist decided to spin the block and drop another song with lyrical jabs toward Drizzy Drake. Lamar posted the 3:45-long song on Instagram this Friday morning, titling it “6:16 in LA.”
Now on the track, Lamar glides into the song with smooth bars before going for Drake’s guzzler. He raps, “Are you ready to play have you ever? Let’s see / Have you ever thought that OVO is working for me? / F—k bullies I hate bullies you just be a terrible person/everyone inside yo team is whispering that you deserve it /Every dog got to have his day so live in your purpose.”
Lamar continues to rap, “It was fun until you start to put money in the streets/ then lost money cause they came back with no receipts / I’m sorry that I live a boring life I love peace / but war ready if the world is ready to see you bleed.” Whew!
On the new track, Kendrick Lamar also comes for one of his biggest critics, DJ Akademiks.

More On Their Beef:
The pair’s feud dates back as early as 2013 over who’s the greatest rapper. Just recently, their feud reignited after Drake and J. Cole released their collaboration “First Person Shooter.” On that track, J. Cole raps that himself, Drake, and Lamar are the “big three” of rap.
Lamar hit the guys back with a feature on Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You album where he came for their necks. He rapped, “Yeah, get up with me, f–k sneak dissing/’First Person Shooter,’ I hope they came with three switches,” He continued, “Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/ Motherf–k the Big Three, n—a, it’s just big me.”
Although J.Cole ultimately opted out of the beef, Drizzy put his pen to work. Drizzy’s “Push Ups,” leaked online, with lyrics slamming Lamar.
“How the f—k you big steppin’ with a size 7 men’s on?”) // “Pipsqueak, pipe down/You ain’t in no big three, SZA got you wiped down/Travis got you wiped down, Savage got you wiped down/Like your label, boy, you Interscope right now / “And that f—ing’ song y’all got is not starting beef with us/This sh—t brewin’ in a pot, now I’m heating up/ I don’t care what Cole think, that Dot s—t was weak as f—k.”
