Kendall Jenner is receiving some unwanted backlash after being photographed out and about on a rainy day in Los Angeles on Saturday with a security member in tow. The thing that appeared to have left people annoyed was the fact that the model’s bodyguard was left to hold her umbrella over her head as they walked through the streets of LA while the man noticeably got drenched in the rain.
According to The Sun, a Kardashian sub-forum had posted the photos to a post, sparking a wide debate on whether Jenner’s security should have been made to hold her umbrella. While some argued that they didn’t think it was a big deal for her security to keep her covered, others begged to differ, saying it was rather uncalled for to leave the man in the pouring rain as he tried to keep her dry.

“I don’t care how rich I am but I would feel so bad letting someone hold my umbrella for me while they are getting soaked,” one person is quoted saying in the forum. Another wrote, “Agreed! Plus it would be a bit awkward? You would stay more dry just holding it yourself (clearly shown not to be the most practical practice in the second picture lolol).”
A third person chimed in on the conversation, writing, “Yes! I was just thinking how I couldn’t allow someone to hold an umbrella for me because I’m too lazy to hold it myself.”
Jenner’s LA outing with her bodyguard came one day after she partied at Lavo in West Hollywood to celebrate Lori Harvey’s 26th birthday alongside Justin Bieber, who was also in attendance for the big bash.
It was just in November when “The Kardashians” star called it quits with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Devin Booker after two years of dating. According to PEOPLE, the former lovebirds decided to end their relationship and simply carry on as friends.
Previous reports claimed they had called it quits a few months back, back in August, but photos of the pair later spotted out and about together indicated they were very much still together. Jenner and Booker have not been seen since news of their split three months ago, and from what’s been said, she hasn’t been looking for a new relationship either.
