Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos Donate $1M To Coronavirus Relief
Of the many celebrities who are taking an initiative and donating to folks nationwide, Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos are donating $1 million to aid in coronavirus relief.
The couple has sought to help the New York Governor’s office who will purchase urgently needed ventilators for COVID-19 patients, headed straight towards the WIN organization; a nonprofit that runs 11 women and children shelters in the metro.

As the state’s coronavirus cases continue to increase at a rapid rate, now that testing for a large majority has been done, the breathing devices are needed now more than ever. Per Gov. Andrew Cuomo, currently, New York has cumulatively tested 22,000 people, including more than 7,500 since Thursday (Mar 19).
Furthermore, New York has clocked the highest number of coronavirus cases, noting 4,152, along with 29 deaths. Nationwide, the number of positive cases has surpassed 12,000.
