Kelly Osbourne, 41, is slamming “cruel and dehumanizing” body-shaming trolls after she and her mother Sharon Osbourne, 73, accepted the late Ozzy Osbourne’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 BRIT Awards. The legendary musician died on July 22, 2025 at 76 years old. His cause of death was ruled as a heart attack.

On Saturday (February 28), seven months after the death of their loved one, Sharon and Kelly shared a touching tribute in a rare joint appearance at the BRITs. While taking to the stage, the mother and daughter duo reflected on Ozzy’s legacy, contributions, and impact he made on the world.
However, as they shared their touching tribute, fans online were tapping away about something else. Instead of celebrating with the family on Ozzy’s posthumous achievement, social users raised concerns over both Kelly and Sharon’s appearances, but more so Kelly’s.

Kelly Osbourne Again Slams ‘Cruel & Dehumanizing’ Criticism Over Her Slim Appearance
In a scathing statement shared on Sunday (March 1) around 2 a.m. EST, Kelly blasted folks online for their “special kind of cruelty.” In her Instagram Story, she fired off:
“There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something. kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.
None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character. I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!”
The backlash arrives weeks after speculation about Kelly’s weight loss. As some critics accuse her over-using weight loss drugs, others harshly compared her current health status to a deathly one, and others simply sympathized and empathized with someone obviously grieving the loss of their father.
In July 2025, the same month her father passed, Kelly addressed “disgusting” trolls online. She shared a screenshot of commenters and said, “Literally can’t believe how disgusting some human beings truly are! No one deserves this sort of abuse!”
In December 2025, Kelly again addressed her “bullies,” calling them “sick and mentally ill.” She slammed critics for comparing photos of her at 41 to a picture of her at 18 years old. She said, “People’s faces change when you grow older,” and later added:
“The thing that I find most disappointing in all of this is that most of the comments are coming from grown a** women. Women that say they’re counselors. Women that are mothers. Women who look like they have weight struggles of their own. And it’s absolutely devastating that women can’t support other women. They’d rather tear them down when their dad just died. It’s disgusting. And I’ve had enough of it. So, go f**k yourself.”
