Kanye West’s Yeezy Brand Intern Sued For $500K After Violating NDA & Posting On Instagram

Ryan Inwards, a former intern for Kanye West‘s Yeezy brand is in hot water after being sued for violating his NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and posting content on Instagram. Per a complaint filed in a Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday (Jan. 15), the Yeezy summer intern signed an NDA that contained a $500,000 liquidated damages provision.

Despite agreeing to such terms, Inwards is said to have posted confidential photos on Instagram; but is now having to fork over a half a million dollars. Additionally, the NDA specifically prohibits disclosing or disseminating confidential information on social media, and it’s reported that Inwards posted non-public images on Instagram and still hasn’t removed them even after being sent multiple cease and desist letters.

In addition to the $500,000 in liquidated damages, Inwards is being sued for punitive damages as the company believes he’s acting maliciously. They’re also seeking an injunction mandating he turn over the images and be banned from similar posts in the future. #Socialites thoughts?
