Kanye West Sued For $20M By Tech Company In Sunday Service Partnership
Kanye West is being sued for $20 million by a tech company, MyChannel, Inc., who were previously involved in a Sunday Service partnership with Ye.
Via their attorneys, Ben Meiselas and Michael Popok, the tech company claims West took advantage of them to advance his Yeezy brand and launch his popular Christian gatherings, known as the Sunday Service. In their lawsuit, the company alleges that they invested $7 million of their own money into Ye’s project, which included them moving their headquarters once to Calabasas, then to Chicago, among other expenses. Additionally, they claim West had employees working around the clock for six months, totaling over 10,000 man-hours.

All of this was reportedly done to not only please West and make the partnership work, but to fulfill their side of the bargain, which was supposed to be met with a series of fulfilled promises, like a $10 million investment from West. Well, after those six months of hard work, the company says West cut ties, and proceeded to steal their technology utilized to launch and support the “million-dollar” Sunday Service brand. Subsequently, MyChannel, Inc. is now suing and seeking more than $20 million in damages, per TMZ.
