Kanye West has accused the Democratic Party of hiring spies to investigate his presidential campaign after they claimed he submitted fake signatures.

In an exclusive by TMZ, Kanye West claimed the Democrats hired a private investigator to track down his team as they tried to gather signatures for his campaign. Last week, the rapper filed signatures and other paperwork to have his name on the ballot in Wisconsin, needing at least 2,000 signatures. The third-party group, Let The Voters Decides, lent a helping hand to help West meet the requirement.
A complaint was filed that following Friday to prevent West from having his name on the ballot. Reportedly, the complaint stated West’s campaign turned in fake signatures along with affidavits from people who claimed they were tricked into placing their names.

However, Kanye says there was a lack of evidence and the Democrats couldn’t prove he falsified the signatures. The claims will also be reviewed by Wisconsin’s Elections Committee and they will make a recommendation about his placement on the ballot slots. He is trying to prevent the same outcome after he was kicked off the ballot in Illinois after officials claimed half of the submitted signatures were fake.
