She claims while she requested the agreement remain sealed, “the other side” chose against it. She also reportedly claims that she did not agree to pay her ex-husband a one-time $2 million payment nor agree to pay him $10,000 to $25,000 a month in child support.

Kandi Burruss Files To Divorce Todd Tucker
In November 2025, Burruss, 49, filed to divorce Tucker, 52, after spending over a decade together and sharing children. The couple first met in 2011 and tied the knot in 2014. They went on to spend 11 years together married, welcoming two children in addition to the one daughter they each separately welcomed before meeting.
After filing for divorce on nNovember 21, 2026, the iconic singer-songwriter and ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ alum admitted that their split “had been brewing for a while.” She shared her admission days after filing during an Amazon Live video segment. She said:
“In real life, in my everyday life, I really don’t like those moments to be shared with the world. But I’m sharing with my Amazon family today — I am up and down. To be clear, I filed Friday, but this is something that has been brewing for a while. All the times you’ve been seeing me online [all smiles] means nothing. I’ve been going through it. I’ve been going through it. Life has been life-ing me.
I’m going to be very honest with you. I am up and down. Obviously, going through a divorce is definitely not the easiest thing. Sometimes you’re cool … then sometimes you have your moments of sadness.
I have no regrets. We are parents together. We are co-parenting together. We have beautiful children together, so we are trying to make this transition as smooth as it could possibly be for our kids. That is our main concern. We are keeping it very friendly.”
Burruss’ comments seemed valid as there were rumors circulating about Tucker contacting other women behind his wife’s back. By early March 2026, Burruss and Tucker reached a “full and final settlement,” bringing their lengthy and costly divorce battle to a close.
Kandi Burruss Reportedly Did Not Agree To One-Time $2M Payment And $10K-$25K Monthly Child Support To Todd Tucker
Within the last few weeks following Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker’s divorce settlement, reports have surfaced and gone viral. According to ‘The Neighborhood Talk,’ a source told them that some of the reports about the former couple’s settlement just aren’t true.
These claims include Burruss paying Tucker a one-time $2 million payment, along with $10,000 to $25,000 in monthly child support, plus all major childcare expenses. The reports also claim Burruss agreed to let Tucker walk away with control of their restaurants, and more. A source close to the situation claimed all of these claims are false, and only “rumors.”
Meanwhile, none of these reports would have even gone viral as Burruss admits she wanted to keep her and Tucker’s divorce settlement sealed. While speaking with Atlanta V-103’s ‘The Bigger Tigger Morning Show,’ Burruss revealed her ex’s side did not want to keep their agreement details undisclosed.
Burruss reminded listeners that she is a private person, always has been, and even more so when it came to her divorce and family matters.
