Justin Bieber & Hailey Baldwin Threaten Lawsuit Against Beverly Hills Doctor Over Plastic Surgery Claims On TikTok
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have threatened a lawsuit against a Beverly Hills doctor after he went viral over the weekend on TikTok, responding to reports that Hailey has never received plastic surgery.
The doctor, Daniel Barrett, was hit with a cease-and-desist letter by the couple’s lawyers, claiming he took advantage of Hailey’s name, image and likeness in his video without permission to advertise his practice and “spread false, uncorroborated claims that Mrs. Bieber has undergone plastic surgery.”

In addition to his claims, Barrett’s under fire for copyright infringement for using lyrics from Justin’s song, “Sorry” in his TikTok caption. Additionally, in his video, which he claims is educational, Barrett compares a photo of Hailey from 2011 to one from 2016, and points out physical changes he thinks were only made possible via cosmetic procedures. He claims she’s had work done on her nose, lips and chin.
Furthermore, the Bieber’s legal team say the video features a number of violations, including “misrepresentation, defamation, slander, false light, violation of rights of publicity, copyright infringement, trademark and service mark infringement,” and more. Since, they’ve asked the doctor to remove the video and issue a public retraction in the next 24 hours, or they’ll pursue a suit.
Countering, Barrett claims his comments aren’t harmful and finds it “crazy” that they’ve attacked him for, what he deems, an educational video about plastic surgery.
