Whew! If you hopped on social media this Wednesday then you probably came across the shocking new mugshot photo of Tory Lanez.
The updated snap shows the singer with a straight-face mug, a 5 o’clock shadow, and super messy hair. Tory Lanez has been transferred to state prison to begin his lengthy 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
Now y’all know social media had a field day with this pic. One Twitter user said, “The eyes are the gateway to the soul, and his is displaying darkness. He will be in his 40s by the time he is released/deported. I hope he learned a valuable lesson by then, but I doubt it.” Another said , “Why his hair looked like they smeared it on like peanut butter already??? What is going ON” A A third said , “LMFAOOO that hair piece holding onto dear life.”
That wasn’t all, the trolling and jokes continued as another person added, “If only he just told the truth… took accountability 🤦🏾♀️” A fifth Twitter user chimed in “This mug shot is giving…” A sixith said, “It’s crazy to think all this nigga had to do was keep his mouth shut. Whether n*ggas think he did it or not, his downfall came from him doing too much rambling, Meg wasn’t even finna say sh*t. I’d have that exact same facial expression if I was him.”

More On Tory Lanez
As we previously reported, in December, Lanez was found guilty of three felonies – assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence – for leaving Megan wounded with bullet fragments in her feet following the 2020 shooting.
Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison last month for his crimes. In an Instagram post shared two days after his sentencing, Lanez took to social media to address his fanbase. He said he “will never let no jail time eliminate me.”
“Regardless of how they try to spin my words, I have always maintained my innocence and I always will,” Lanez wrote. “This week in court I took responsibility for all verbal and intimate moments that I shared with the parties involved. … That’s it. In no way shape or form was I apologizing for the charges I’m being wrongfully convicted of. I remain on the stance that I refuse to apologize for something that I did not do.”
Just days ago, the rapper was denied bond by a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge during a hearing as his new legal team appeals his 10-year sentence. Despite multiple attempts, he’s still determined to get out of the slammer.
