Jon Bon Jovi has been making headlines as he confesses to several infidelities. The 62-year-old Rock star admits that he was not “a saint” in his marriage to his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley, sharing that he “got away with murder” in his marriage having slept with 100 girls in his lifetime.

While speaking with former NFL star-turned-TV host Michael Strahan, for ABC’s ‘Halfway There‘ special on Monday (April 29), Jon Bon Jovi joked that he was “not saying that there weren’t 100 girls in [his] life.” He said, “I’m a Rock ‘N Roll star. I’m not a saint. I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good.”

Jon Bon Jovi added, “But if you think I was ever going to jeopardize … anything for believing the narcissist in me was real? What a stupid thing to do. What kind of excesses does a man need that’s going to fuel that fire? It’s just not worth it.”

He also praised his 61-year-old wife for not being “afraid to call [him] out on something.” However, he continued to note, “She’s also there when I fall. And I’m there for her when she falls. No matter where I went in my career, the ups or the downs, we went there together.”

Jon Bon Jovi also recently spoke with Lewis Howes on ‘The School of Greatness‘ podcast on Monday (April 29), where he again recognized that his ego affected his 35-year marriage to Dorothea Hurley in the past. He said, “I’m always going to be the narcissist lead singer in the house, but there’s no platinum records hanging in my house.” He said that aside from having “admiration and mutual respect” for his wife, he also makes sure that he is a “good listener” and knows “it’s not all about” him. He added, “It’s about we. It’s about both of us, it’s about all of us. It’s about the family dynamic.”

As mentioned, the two were high school sweethearts and began dating in 1980, four years before the release of Jon Bon Jovi’s first album. In 1985, the two briefly split before reconciling and eloping in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1989. Dorothea Hurley, who is a karate instructor, shares four children with the Rock ‘N Roll star: Stephanie, 30, Jesse, 29, Jake, 21, and Romeo, 20.

During his conversation with Lewis Howes, Jon Bon Jovi also revealed that he once admitted to his wife that he wanted to move out of California because there were “too many beautiful people” to stay faithful.

While living in Malibu, for about four or five years, the New Jersey native told his wife, “We gotta sell this house and get the hell out of here. This is not conducive to a great relationship and a great life and a great career … I was just, like, ‘I don’t want to be a part of this scene. This is not who we are. It’s not who I am. I don’t give a f**k.’ That shallow sh*t will ruin you, and I know grown men who still are playing that game, and it’s just sad and shallow.”
